🎵 MUSIC PASS — UNLIMITED PLAYS

  Rush Hour runs a full custom music system: a Spotify-style app on your laptop and phone, a car radio with its own in-dash interface, carryable boomboxes, and two-deck DJ booths; all running on true 3D positional audio that everyone around you can hear.

Everyone gets 10 free plays per session to try it. The Music Pass removes the limit, permanently, on every character you own.

WHAT THE PASS DOES

•  Unlimited plays. No session cap on the laptop app, the phone app, the car radio, boomboxes or DJ booths
• Account-wide. The pass is tied to your account, not a single character; every character you have, now and in the future, plays unlimited
• Permanent. One purchase, unlocked forever. It survives server restarts and character changes
• Everything else stays free. The pass doesn't lock anything behind it; it only removes the play limit

HOW THE FREE LIMIT WORKS (SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING)

•  Without the pass you get 10 plays per session, shared across every device. Starting a track on your laptop, your phone, your car, a boombox or a DJ booth all draw from the same pool
• Those free plays reset when the music system restarts, which normally means the next server restart
• Only starting a track costs a play. Listening to somebody else's car radio, boombox or DJ set is always free and always unlimited, pass or no pass
• Pausing and resuming on the car radio or boombox restarts the track from the beginning, so it counts as a new play
• You can check your balance at any time in-game with /musicplays

The music system on Rush Hour is not a URL box; it's a full platform.

The laptop app

• A Spotify-style music app on your in-game laptop: home, charts, search, and your own library
• Browse songs, albums, playlists, radio stations, artists and podcasts published by in-city labels
• Like songs, save albums, build playlists, queue tracks, shuffle and repeat
• Playback keeps going while you close the laptop and picks up exactly where you left it

The phone app

•  The same music app on your phone, sharing one player with the laptop — start a song on your laptop, control it from your phone

The car radio

• Press Q in any vehicle to open the in-car radio interface, styled like a real head unit
• Your music plays through the car itself, so anyone near your vehicle hears it in full 3D — and inside the car it flattens out and plays like a proper stereo
• Opening the radio is free for everyone. The pass is what removes the limit on how many tracks you can start

Boomboxes

•  Carry a boombox in your hands, drop it wherever you want, and play music out of it
• Anyone nearby hears it positionally, and you can adjust the volume live
• Pick it back up and take it with you when you're done

DJ booths

• A full two-deck DJ mixer: load a track on each deck, ride the crossfader, work the 3-band EQ, filters, echo, reverb and flanger
• Everyone in earshot hears the exact mix you're playing, synced
• Link up to 12 speakers to a booth and they all play the identical signal with zero drift, each one spatialized independently — proper club and event sound
• Placeable DJ desks and speakers become functional automatically, so any venue can be set up for a real show

The audio engine behind all of it

• True 3D positional audio with distance falloff and stereo positioning
• Occlusion — music muffles through car bodies and interior walls, and opens up as doors and windows open
• Environmental reverb — tunnels and rooms echo, open streets stay dry
• Everything is synced to the server, so if you walk up to a car halfway through a song, you hear it at the same point everyone else does

HOW TO REDEEM — STEP BY STEP

  Redemption happens in-game, in the Portal.

1. Buy the package. Complete checkout here on the store. Tebex emails you a receipt containing your Transaction ID, and it's also shown on the confirmation page right after payment. Copy that ID and keep the receipt.
2. Join the server and load a character. Any character will do — the pass unlocks account-wide, so it doesn't matter which one you're on when you redeem.
3. Open the Portal. Press F1 for the radial menu, then select Portal.
4. Go to Store, then the Redeem tab.
5. Paste your Transaction ID and confirm. The pass unlocks immediately — you'll get an in-game confirmation, and every device is unlimited from that second on. The redemption is recorded in the History tab.
6. Check it worked.

  Type /musicplays. It should say your music pass is active with unlimited plays.

FAQ

Do I need to be online when I buy?

• No, but you do need to be in-game to redeem — hop on whenever you're ready.

Does it work on all my characters?

• Yes. The pass is on your account, so every character you own is covered, including new ones.

Does it give me better music, more songs, or exclusive tracks?

• No. Everyone has access to the same catalog. The pass only removes the limit on how many tracks you can start per session.

Do my friends need it to hear my music?

• No. Listening is always free and unlimited for everyone. Only the person starting a track spends a play.

Does it make the car radio work?

• The car radio is already free for everybody — press Q in any vehicle. The pass just means you never run out of plays on it.

Can I lose the pass?

• No. It's stored permanently against your account.
